But difficult conversations are a great way to understand the other person’s point of view. They can also open your mind and make necessary improvements. Open-mindedness is like oil in the wheel of leadership – it shows respect towards others’ differences. When you are open to difficult conversations, you accept that you played a part in causing the issue. The more difficult conversations you have, the better you get at having them.
